Leisure Time

Samaritan’s Place believes that socialization is such a vital part of the growth of the children. Through positive interaction and without the distraction of cell phones or other technology that would curtail talking and playing, all SP goes out and play at 4:00 or 4:30 every afternoon depending on the heat and home work that needs to be done.

Children are surrounded with heartening words like “Great Job,” “You can do it,” “Let us take turns.” Actions that expresses support, love and safety such as hugs, a pat on the arm or at the back, children’s eye level conversations, and just the down-right participation of adults in the children’s game are just some things that happen daily during leisure time.
